What is the Custom Stationery Process Like?

Custom Stationery Process:

A Step-by-Step Guide to Beautiful Invitations

Your wedding invitations set the stage for your celebration, offering guests a first glimpse into the magic of your big day. More than just paper, they reflect your style, excitement, and attention to detail. Whether you’re drawn to classic elegance or contemporary charm, a seamless stationery process ensures a stress-free experience. Here’s what to expect when working with Shiloh Soirée for your wedding stationery.

Step 1: Inquire

The first step in creating your dream wedding stationery is reaching out! Simply submit an inquiry via on our contact page or the schedule an appointment button below.

Once we connect, I’ll send over a quick questionnaire to better understand your wedding vision and stationery needs. This is a great time to ask questions, share inspiration, and ensure we’re the perfect fit!

Step 2: Review Your Options

After learning more about your vision, I’ll create a custom mood board featuring design inspiration, color palettes, and aesthetic details that align with your wedding style. You’ll also receive:

✔️ A recommended timeline schedule to keep everything on track.

✔️ Three package options tailored to your budget and preferences.

No pressure to make all the final decisions upfront! We’ll refine and adjust throughout the process to make sure everything feels just right.

Step 3: Secure Your Spot

Once you’ve selected your package, it’s time to officially book your spot! A 50% retainer and signed contract secure your place in our schedule and kick off the creative design process. From here, the real fun begins—bringing your vision to life!

Step 4: Designing Your Suite

This is where your stationery starts taking shape! I’ll guide you through every design detail, including:

Wording & etiquette to ensure clarity and elegance.

Colors, fonts, and paper choices for a cohesive aesthetic.

Custom artwork & embellishments to add a unique touch.

You’ll receive two full invitation mock-ups showcasing different design directions. From there, we’ll refine your favorite look with unlimited revisions until it’s absolutely perfect! Once you’re happy with the final design, you’ll approve everything and submit the remaining balance—then I take it from there!

Step 5: Printing, Assembly & Mailing.

Now, it’s time for production! Your invitations will be printed, assembled, and mailed directly to your guests—so you don’t have to lift a finger.

To make things even easier, I will:

✔️ Send a special invitation to your photographer for styling photos.

✔️ Provide a keepsake invitation for you to cherish in a beautiful linen box.

✔️ Ensure any extra pieces you ordered arrive safely.

This step is all about bringing everything together with precision and care.

Step 6: Day-Of Details 💍

Your wedding day deserves beautiful finishing touches that match your invitation suite. We’ll design cohesive day-of stationery to ensure a seamless look, including:

  • Ceremony programs and Vow books

  • Seating charts, menus, table numbers, and place cards.

  • Welcome signs and other custom signage (hashtags, signature drinks, guestbook, etc.)

  • Thank you cards

With every piece thoughtfully designed, your wedding will have a polished, elegant aesthetic from start to finish!
